Our event featuring Tom Davis, CEO of Children's HopeChest, on March 4, 2011 at Lynwood Baptist Church was a fantastic success. Eyes were opened and hearts were broken to the reality of orphan care and adoption issues.
Many thanks to Lynwood Baptist Church, Cape First, St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, and LaCroix Church for their financial support to make this evening possible. Thanks also to representatives from Bikers Against Child Abuse, Children's Coalition, Court Appointed Special Advocates,Gorgeous Girls, Holt Adoption Agency, Hope for One More, KHIS radio, Lutheran Family and Children's Services, Missouri Children's Division, and other groups that were there to speak with attendees about how each person can make a difference in the life of a child. We also appreciate the assistance of Sheri Grippo of Bella Bambino, Cape Printing, Turya Nations, Jenny Knoderer and the rest of the Room for One More team.
